American-Romanian Business Council's 7th Annual Business Mission

The American-Romanian Business Council (AMRO) held its 7th Annual Business Mission during the week of June 24. 13 American American companies traveled to Bucharest, Romania and met with the Vice Prime Minister, the Minister of Finance, the Head of Parliament, the Minister of Entrepreneurship and Technology, and a senior official from the Ministry of Foreign of Affairs. In addition, AMRO also hosted a joint defense roundtable with the Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of National Defense. In this forum, companies were able to meet individually with Romanian defense companies in addition to the government officials. Participating companies were also welcomed by the U.S. Embassy in Bucharest for an evening reception that included remarks from the U.S. Ambassador and the Vice Prime Minister.
