ACEBA's 3rd Business Mission to Slovakia
At the end of September, the American-Central European Business Association (ACEBA) led its 3rd business mission to Bratislava, Slovakia. The delegation was comprised of eleven American companies, making it ACEBA’s largest delegation for a mission to Slovakia to date.
We kicked off the mission with a morning country briefing with U.S. Ambassador to Slovakia Gautam Rana and the U.S. Embassy team. Afterward, companies participated in a joint plenary session with State Secretary of Economy Vladimír Šimoňák, State Secretary of Foreign & European Affairs Rastislav Chovanec, U.S. Ambassador to Slovakia Gautam Rana, as well as representatives of the Ministry of Finance and SARIO.
Later in the day, some companies participated in a healthcare dialogue with representatives of the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Environment, while others attended a defense forum with representatives from the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Finance, and ZBOP.
To close out our visit to Bratislava, our delegation had the opportunity to attend an evening reception hosted by U.S. Ambassador Gautam Rana, attended by the ACEBA delegation, Slovak companies, and representatives of the Government of Slovakia.
