Partnership for Transatlantic Energy and Climate Cooperation Fourth Ministerial
The American Central European Business Association (ACEBA) was proud to be a supporting organization, alongside the Atlantic Council, of The Fourth Ministerial Meeting of the Partnership for Transatlantic Energy and Climate Cooperation (P-TECC), co-hosted by the Croatian Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development. The Ministerial took place on March 1st and 2nd, 2023, in Zagreb, Croatia.
P-TECC is a multilateral project led by the U.S. Department of Energy concentrating on the rapid decarbonization of the economies of Central and Eastern Europe. It helps to improve energy security in the area, forge business ties with U.S. firms, and promote cooperation. With its emphasis on energy infrastructure, interconnection, and security, the P-TECC, which consists of twenty-four nations in Central and Eastern Europe, is a complementary initiative to the Three Seas Initiative (3SI).
The event focused on European energy security, physical and cybersecurity, grid optimization, the advancement of geothermal energy, and strategies to support the rebuilding of Ukraine’s energy sector. It included presentations and discussions led by:
